I am a Wisconsin native, having grown up in Whitewater, WI. I attended UW-Whitewater for 3 years of undergraduate studies before moving on to Indiana University for Optometry school. After graduation in 1992, my wife Carmen and I moved to Racine.
I have practiced in Racine since the early fall of 1992. In 1997 I opened my own optometric practice. I have provided on-site nursing home care and laser vision correction pre and post operative care outside of my practice. I currently do not see any patients outside of my practice.
I have been actively involved in eye care related software design and implementation since 2000 and am a founder of Health Innovation Technology, which sells RevolutionEHR, a full fledged web based software solution for optometry and ophthalmology practices.
I have written for several optometric trade magazines such as Contact Lens Spectrum, Optometric Management and Review of Optometry.
In addition, I am a well traveled speaker in the ophthalmic industry, educating my peers on technology, clinical care and practice management. I also work with other companies in the ophthalmic industry on product development, doctor education and training.
