Community Action in Action

My rotary club helped the postal workers out with their annual food drive this past weekend.  We helped them by providing person power sorting the food as it arrived at the 4 Mile Road postal station.

As you can see from the pictures, there was a large amount of food donated by the citizens of Racine.  These photos just show the first three hours that we were helping out.

All of this food will be used in the local food pantrys.  The young man in the orange Harley Davidson hat is my 11 year old son James.  He was a great help as the “truck driver” moving the heavy pallets of food around the location.

When you have the time, its great to help out in our community….
